    Our vision is for a healthy and harmonious Aboriginal community while honoring the wisdom inherent within our Nation; we nurture the healing journey for Aboriginal families and children by empowering them through the provision of support and resource while encouraging our community partners to walk with us on the path of healing, reconciliation & learning.
  • Come 'N' Learn Regina Aboriginal Head Start

    The primary goal of the "Come & Learn" Regina Aboriginal Head Start Program is to demonstrate that locally controlled and designed early intervention strategies can provide Aboriginal pre-school children in urban and northern settings with a desire for learning and opportunities to develop fully and successfully as young people.
  • Family Support

    This program provides support to families and their children through culturally appropriate, holistic, healing and preventative services. These Services include parenting skills, child development, healing issues, addictions and personal skills development with elders involved in all aspects.
  • Youth Mentoring

    This program is a partnership with the Ministry of Social Services to Mentor and role model while building trusting and supportive relationships with Youth. The Youth Mentors provide guidance for Youth struggling with a range of issues such as; aggression, isolation, cognitive issues, cultural identity, coping skills, life skills, and problem solving skills.

Aboriginal Family Service Centre is a community-based organization that helps families and children. It is mandated to involve the community and develop strong partnerships.

As family structures, roles and responsibilities continuously shift, the Centre realizes the importance of remaining flexible and responsive.

The Aboriginal Family Service Centre is dedicated to providing services that support and empower families, children and youth to attain a healthy lifestyle in the many aspects of their life including; the home, at work / job, education / training, spiritual and recreational. The AFSC believes the importance of individual and family well-being is a foundation for both strong families and communities and economic growth.
